Çift Taraflı Bifid Mandibular Kondil: Bir Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Bifid mandibular kondil (BMK), sıklıkla panoramik radyografide rastlantısal olarak teşhis edilen nadir bir durumdur ve çoğunlukla asemptomatik seyreder. Etiyolojisi tam olarak bilinmemekle birlikte, çeşitli embriyolojik ve gelişimsel değişimler, travma, kondilektomi gibi cerrahi müdaheler ve genetik faktörler olası nedenler arasında sayılmaktadır. Unilateral veya bilateral olabilir. Bu olgu sunumunda dental rutin muayene amacıyla Akdeniz Üniversitesi Ağız Diş ve Çene Radyolojisi Anabilim Dalı’ na başvuran bir hastada rastlantısal olarak tespit edilen bilateral BMK’ nın, klinik ve radyolojik bulgularını sunmak amaçlanmıştır.
