COVID-19'dan Kurtulmak ve Basınç Yaralanması Komplikasyonlarından Ölmek: Olgu Sunumu

Year 2023, Volume: 2 Issue: 1, 16 - 20, 22.06.2023

Abstract

Yaklaşık dört ay önce romatoloji bölümüne başvuran bir hasta Sjögren sendromu tanısı almıştı. Hastada evre I basınç yaralanması gelişmişti.

Surviving COVID-19 and Dying From Pressure İnjury Complications: A Case Report

Year 2023, Volume: 2 Issue: 1, 16 - 20, 22.06.2023

Abstract

Approximate four months ago, a patient was admitted to the rheumatology department and had diagnosed with Sjögren's syndrome. A stage I pressure injury had developed in the patient. She had not applied to the hospital due to the fear of COVID-19 until her general condition was unstable. However, despite efforts to treat pressure injuries, the wound progressed up to stage IV. The patient died 45 days after being transferred to palliative care near where she lived.
