Abstract

Abstract

All countries are struggling with new type of coronavirus, which spreads rapidly today, has a high mortality and has turned into a global epidemic. The need for health care and intensive care units is increasing day by day with coronavirus disease. Prevention of pressure injuries in healthcare remains important for patients. The increase number of patients treated for coronavirus in intensive care units where pressure injuries more common, shows that these patients are also at high risk for pressure injuries. The symptoms of the coronavirus disease and the intensive care treatment process have increased the need for protective measures to prevent pressure injuries. In this review, it is aimed to examine the current approach to prevent the development of pressure injury in coronavirus patients in line with the literature
