Diyabetik Ayak Ülseri ve Hemşirelik” Konulu Yayınların Bibliyometrik Analizi

Abstract

Giriş: Diyabetli bireylerde en yaygın morbidite ve mortalite nedeni diyabetik nöropati ve/veya periferik arter hastalığının sonucu olan ayak ülserleridir. Diyabetik ayak ülserleri (DAÜ), tüm travmatik olmayan alt eksremite ampütasyonlarının %85’ini oluşturmaktadır. DAÜ, uzun hastanede kalış süresi, aile ve sağlık sistemi üzerindeki mali yük ve erken ölüm riski nedeniyle son yıllarda çalışmaların odak noktalarından biri olmuştur. Ancak, tüm bu araştırmaları bir arada analiz eden bibliyometrik bir çalışmaya rastlanılmamıştır.
Yöntem: İngilizce yayınlar için “diyabetic food ulser AND nursing” anahtar kelimeleri, Türkçe yayınlar için ise Google Akademik veri tabanında “Diyabetik ayak ülseri ve hemşirelik” anahtar kelimeleri ile arama yapılmıştır. Toplam 857 çalışma incelenmiş olup, 118 orijinal araştırma bibliyometrik çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Çalışmalar, yıllara göre yayın sayıları, yayın türleri ile kavram-konu yönelimleri bağlamında analiz edilmiştir.
Bulgular: Makalelerin yıllara göre dağılımı incelendiğinde; 1986-2005 yılları arasında 9, 2006-2015 yılları arasında 33, 2016-2021 yılları arasında 76 araştırma yayınlanmıştır. Araştırmalar, türleri açısından incelendiğinde; sistematik derleme ve metaanaliz türünde 52, deneysel dizaynda 42, gözlemsel 23 ve metodolojik dizaynda bir araştırma bulunmaktadır. Araştırmaların kavram-konu yönelimi analizinde; DAÜ’ne ilişkin özellikler, DAÜ’li hastaların yönetimi, DAÜ’de kullanılan kılavuzlar, ölçüm araçları, sınıflandırma sistemleri ve DAÜ’de tedavi yöntemleri olmak üzere dört kategori altında toplanmıştır.
Sonuç: DAÜ konusunda hemşireler tarafından yapılan araştırmaların sayısının giderek arttığı ve bu araştırmalarda DAÜ’nün önlenmesinden tedavisine kadar, tüm süreçte hemşirenin önemli rollerinin olduğu görülmektedir.

Bibliometric Analysis of Publications on “Diabetic Foot Ulcer and Nursing”

Abstract

Introduction:The most common cause of morbidity and mortality in individuals with diabetes is foot ulcers as a result of diabetic neuropathy and/or peripheral artery disease. Diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) constitute 85% of all non-traumatic lower extremity amputations. DFU has been one of the focal points of studies in recent years due to the long hospital stay, financial burden on the family and health system, and risk of premature death. However, no bibliometric study was found that analyzed all these studies together.
Methods: The keywords "diabetic food ulcer AND nursing" were searched for English publications, and the keywords "Diabetic foot ulcer and nursing" were searched in the Google Academic database for Turkish publications. A total of 857 studies were reviewed, and 118 original studies were included in the bibliometric study. The studies were analyzed in terms of the number of publications by years, publication types and concept-subject orientations.
Results: When the distribution of the articles by years is examined; 9 researches were published between 1986-2005, 33 researches were published between 2006-2015 and 76 researches were published between 2016-2021. When the studies are examined in terms of their types; There are 52 studies in the systematic review and meta-analysis type, 42 in the experimental design, 23 in the observational design, and one study in the methodological design. In the concept-subject orientation analysis of the studies; The features of EMU are grouped under four categories: management of patients with EMU, guidelines used in EMU, measurement tools, classification systems and treatment methods in EMU.
Conclusion: It is seen that the number of studies conducted by nurses on EMU has been increasing gradually and that nurses have an important role in the whole process from prevention to treatment of EMU in these studies.
