COVID-19 Salgınında Cerrahi: Cerrahi Sürece Genel Bir Bakış ve Hemşirelik Bakımı/Yönetimi

Year 2020, Volume: 5 Issue: 2, 221 - 227, 30.06.2020

Abstract

Abstract

In Wuhan, China’s Hubei Province, an outbreak of unknown pneumonia occurred at the end of the December 2019, and the underlying factor of this pneumonia was originally identified as a new coronavirus, called severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Later, this virus has reached an epidemic size all over the world. In the epidemic, surgery and emergency surgery are very serious problem. It is very important to protect healthcare professionals and other patients during the treatment of patients. It is necessary to take additional measures and establish a control mechanism for disinfection of the operating room environment and surgical instruments, protection of patients and medical personnel. For the implementation of the specified isolation measures, coordination of the surgical team and infection prevention applications, a workflow plan regarding the surgical process should be established. The patients who are suspected or diagnosed with new corona pneumonia should be known and defined in detail before, during the perioperative surgery.
