ChatGPT’nin Sağlık Bilimleri Eğitimine Getirdiği Fırsatlar

Abstract

Üretici Ön-Eğitimli Dönüştürücü (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer (ChatGPT)), takip soruları sorulabilen, tanımları test edebilen ve varsayımları sorgulayabilen bir sohbet robotudur. Çok yönlü olan ChatGPT’nin müşteri desteği, bilgi alma, sağlık hizmetleri ve eğitim dahil olmak üzere çok çeşitli alanda kullanılabileceği belirtilmektedir. Literatürde ChatGPT’nin sağlık bilimleri eğitimi için sunduğu fırsatlar akademik dürüstlük, gizlilik gibi etik ilkeler ve güvenlik çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır. Yükseköğretim Kurulları’nın personel eğitimi vererek ChatGPT teknolojisine hızlıca uyum sağlaması önerilmektedir. Bu güncel ve önemli konunun Türkiye’deki sağlık bilimleri eğitimcilerinin dikkatine sunmak ve ChatGPT’nin sağlık bilimleri eğitimi için sunduğu fırsatlar hakkında farkındalık oluşturmak oldukça önemlidir. Özetle bu derleme ChatGPT’nin sağlık bilimleri eğitimine sunduğu fırsatlara kapsamlı bir genel bakış sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Böylece bu derleme ChatGPT kullanımının sağlık bilimleri eğitimine getirebileceği önemli gelişmelere ilişkin sağlık bilimleri eğitimcilerinde farkındalık oluşturulmasını sağlayabilir. Sonuçta Türkiye’deki sağlık bilimleri eğitimcileri kazandıkları farkındalıkla dünyadaki en güncel gelişmelere geç kalmadan uyum sağlayabilirler.

The Opportunities Given by ChatGPT to Health Science Education

Abstract

Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer (ChatGPT) is a conversational chatbot capable of asking follow-up questions, testing definitions, and challenging assumptions. It is stated that ChatGPT is versatile and can be used in a wide variety of areas, including customer support, information, healthcare and education. The opportunities of ChatGPT for health education have been discussed in the literature within the framework of ethical principles such as academic integrity and privacy, and security. It is recommended that Higher Education Councils quickly adapt to ChatGPT technology by providing personnel training. It is very important to present to the attention of health educators and create awareness in Turkey about ChatGPT that is a current and important issue that has been on the agenda. In summary, this review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the opportunities of ChatGPT in health education. Thus, this review can bring forth awareness to health educators about the important developments that the use of ChatGPT in health education. As a result, health educators can adapt to the latest developments in the world without delay by gaining awareness in Turkey.
