Türkiye’de Lisansüstü Tezlerde Bebek Masajının Etkilerinin İncelenmesi: Sistematik Derleme

Abstract

Amaç: Bu sistematik derlemenin amacı Türkiye’de bebek masajı ile ilgili yapılmış olan lisansüstü tezlerinin sistematik olarak incelenmesidir.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmalara, Ulusal Tez Tarama Merkezi veri tabanlarında 2000-2022 yılları arasında yayınlanan ve Türkçe ‘yenidoğan, bebek, prematüre, masaj’ anahtar kelimeleriyle farklı kombinasyonlar kullanılarak ulaşılmıştır. Sistematik derleme dahilinde ulaşılan çalışmalara PRISMA kontrol listesi akış şeması kullanılmıştır. Dahil edilen çalışmaların uygunluğunu belirlemek için ise PICOS yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Ulaşılan lisansüstü tezlerin metodolojik kalitesi Türkçe Joanna Briggs Enstitüsü MAStARI Deneysel ve Yarı Deneysel Araştırmalar Kontrol Listesi ile değerlendirilmiştir.
Bulgular: Tarama sonucunda Türkiye’de 2000-2022 yılları arasında hemşireler tarafından yapılmış olan yenidoğan, bebek ve prematüre masajını konu alan 18 teze ulaşılmıştır. Tezlerin % 44.4’ü doktora, % 55.6’sı yüksek lisans tezidir. Çalışmaların %77.8’i deneysel tasarımda, %22.2’si yarı deneysel tasarımda yapılmıştır. Araştırmalarda uygulanan masajın % 72’sinin tüm vücuda, %11.1’inin karına, %5.6’sı ayak masajı, %5.6’sı bacak masajı, %5.6’sı ise aromaterapi masajı olarak uygulandığı görülmüştür. Masaj uygulamalarının % 27.5’i büyüme parametrelerine olan etkiyi, %22.2’si bilirubin düzeyine etkiyi, %22.2’si ağrı düzeyine etkiyi, %11.1’i uyku üzerine etkiyi, %11.1’i stres belirtileri üzerine etkiyi, %11.1’i emme başarısı üzerindeki etkiyi, %5.6’sı konstipasyon üzerindeki etkiyi, %5.6’sı vital bulgular üzerindeki etkiyi ve %5.6’sı da konfor üzerindeki etkiyi incelemiştir.
Sonuç: Derleme kapsamında Türkiye’de bebek masajına ilişkin yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin yenidoğan, bebek ve prematüre masajı olarak yapıldığı görülmüştür ve bebeklere uygulanan masajlar bağımlı değişkenler üzerinde olumlu sonuçlar vermiştir.

Abstract

Aim: The aim of this systematic review is to systematically examine the postgraduate theses on infant massage in Turkey.
Materials and Methods: The researches were reached by using different combinations with the Turkish 'newborn, baby, premature, massage' keywords published between 2000-2022 in the databases of the National Thesis Search Center. The PRISMA checklist flowchart was used for the studies reached within the systematic review. The PICOS method was used to determine the suitability of the included studies. The methodological quality of the postgraduate theses reached was evaluated with the Turkish Joanna Briggs Institute MAStARI Experimental and Semi-Experimental Research Checklist.
Results: As a result of the screening, 18 theses on newborn, infant and premature massage, which were made by nurses between 2000-2022 in Turkey, were reached. 44.4% of theses are doctoral dissertations, 55.6% are master's theses. 77.8% of the studies were carried out in experimental design and 22.2% in quasi-experimental design. It has been observed that 72% of the massage applied in the studies was applied to the whole body, 11.1% to the abdomen, 5.6% to foot massage, 5.6% to leg massage and 5.6% as aromatherapy massage. The effect of massage applications on growth parameters was 27.5%, the effect on bilirubin level 22.2%, the effect on pain level 22.2%, the effect on sleep 11.1%, the effect on stress symptoms 11.1%, the effect on sucking success 11.1%. examined the effect on constipation, 5.6% the effect on constipation, 5.6% the effect on vital signs, and 5.6% the effect on comfort.
Conclusion: Within the scope of the review, it was seen that the postgraduate theses on infant massage in Turkey were made as newborn, infant and premature massage, and massages applied to infants gave positive results on the dependent variables.
