Covid- 19 pandemisinin hemşirelerin covid stresine etkisi

Abstract

Giriş ve Amaç: Hemşireler COVID-19 sürecinde birçok ruhsal sağlık sorunları ile karşı karşıya kalmışlardır. Bu çalışma, covid 19 pandemisi sonrası hastanelerde çalışan hemşirelerin Covid 19 stresini değerlendirmek amacı ile tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel türde planlandı.
Metod: Çalışma 191 hemşire ile online yapıldı. Veriler 21 soruluk kişisel bilgi formu ve Covid Stres Ölçeği (Covid Stress Scale-CSS) ile toplandı. Verilerin analizleri için SPSS version 23 kullanıldı. İstatstiksel değerlendirmede tanımlayıcı istatistiklerin yanı sıra, Student t testi kullanıldı. Anlamlılık düzeyi p <0,05 olarak kabul edildi.
Bulgular: Hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması 36,54±8,79’dur. Çalışma grubunun %67’si pandemiden etkilendiğini ve ortalama 1,32±0,64 (min:1, max:5) defa SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) enfeksiyonu geçirdiğini, büyük bir çoğunluğu pandeminin kendisini de (%90,1), mesleğini de (%88) olumsuz etkilediğini belirrti. Hemşirelerin Covid 19 pandemisi sonrası dönemde; en fazla COVID-19 ile ilişkili tehlike ve bulaşma kaygısı (29,38±11,23) yaşadıkları belirlendi. Hemşirelerin bireysel özellikleri ile COVID-19 stres ölçeği alt boyut puanları arasında istatistiksel anlamlı bir farklılık saptanmadı (p>0,05). Buna karşılık pandemi sürecine ilişkin pandeminin tekrar edeceğini düşünen hemşireler ile pandeminin tekrar etmesi halinde işinden ayrılmayı düşünenlerin COVID-19 stres ölçeği tüm alt boyutlarından anlamlı olarak daha yüksek puanlar aldıkları belirlendi (p<0,05).
Sonuç: Hemşirelerin Covid-19 pandemisinin tekrarlayacağına inanan ve pandeminin tekrar etmesi halinde işinden ayrılmayı düşünen hemşirelerin COVID-19 stresleri daha yüksektir. Hemşirelerin salgın durumlarına psikolojik olarak hazırlanmaları için hastane yönetimlerinin bireysel baş etme konusunda destek sağlaması önerilir.
