OFİS TİPİ BEYAZLATMA İŞLEMİNİN RENKLENDİRİLEN KOMPOZİT REZİN RESTORASYONLARA OLAN ETKİSİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Amaç:Bu çalışmanın amacı farklı solüsyonlar içerisinde bekletilen kompozit rezin örneklere ofis tipi bir beyazlatma ajan uygulanmasının etkisinin değerlendirilmesidir.
Giriş: Kompozit rezinlerin en önemli dezavantajı zaman içinde kompozit rezinlerde meydana gelen renklenmelerdir. Özellikle anterior bölgede bulunan estetik kompozit rezin restorasyonların yenilenmesinin en önemli nedeni, zaman içinde restorasyonlarda meydana gelen renk değişikliğidir. Renklenmenin giderilmesi için restorasyonun yenilenmesi, diş dokusunda daha fazla madde kaybına yol açmasının ve zaman kaybına neden olmasının yanı sıra, ekonomik olarakta çok tercih edilir bir yöntem değildir.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışmada A1 renginde restoratif materyal Filtek™ Z550 Nano Hibrit Üniversal kullanıldı. Çalışmamızda 13 mm çapında ve 1,5 mm kalınlıkta dairesel boşluklara sahip bir politetrafloroetilen kalıp kullanılmıştır. Toplamda 40 adet örnek hazırlanmıştır (n=8). Restoratif materyaller su, çay, neskafe, kola ve kırmızı şarap olmak üzere 5 farklı solüsyon içinde, 30 gün süre ile renklendirildi. Renklenen kompozit materyalleri beyazlatmak için Opalescence® Boost Ofis Tipi Beyazlatma (%40 HP) kullanıldı.
Bulgular: Su ve kola birlikte; çay ve neskafe birlikte ve şarap da hepsinden daha yüksek ortalama renklenme değerine sahip olacak şekilde tek başına hareket etmiştir. Ağartma işlemi sonucunda elde edilen ortalama renklendirme değerlerinin tüm solüsyonlarda farklı olduğu görülmüştür. Ağartma işleminde elde edilen ortalama renklendirme miktarları sadece şarapta ortalama olarak düşüş göstermiştir. Diğer solüsyonlarda elde edilen tüm renklendirme ortalama miktarları ağartma işlemi sonucunda elde edilen ortalama miktarından daha küçük değere sahiptir(p<0,05).
Sonuç: Şarap gibi renklenmeyi çok fazla arttıran solüsyonlar için beyazlatma işlemi etkili olup renklenen kompozit rezinlerde rengin açılmasını sağlarken, renklenmesi olmayan kompozit rezinlerde rengin daha koyu veya opak olmasına neden olmuştur.
