Abstract
Kawasaki hastalığı (KH) kendini sınırlandıran, etyolojisi aydınlatılamamış, çocukluk çağının akut febril multisistemik bir vaskülitidir. Tanı klinik bulgular ile konulmaktadır. Tedavi edilmeyen vakaların yaklaşık dörtte birinde gelişebilen koroner arter tutulum riski, ölümcül seyreden komplikasyonlara neden olabileceği için önemlidir. Hızlı tanı ve tedavi ile bu risk önemli derecede azaltılabilmektedir. Küçük damar vasküliti nedeniyle gelişebilen, aseptik menenjiti içeren santral sinir sistemi tutulumu hastanın ilk geliş tablosu olabilir. Bu yazıda ateş, kusma, uykuya meyilli ve huzursuz olması nedeniyle menenjit tedavisi alan, izleminde klinik ve ekokardiyografik bulgularla atipik Kawasaki hastalığı tanısı konulan on dokuz aylık bir erkek olgu sunuldu.
