HASTANE YATAK KULLANIM VERİMLİLİĞİNİN DEĞERLENDİRMESİNDE PABON LASSO METODU: LİTERATÜR TARAMASI

Abstract

Sağlık hizmetlerinin maliyetlerini düşürmek ve etkinliğini artırmak politika yapıcıların ve hastane yöneticilerin amaçları arasındadır. Hastane maliyetleri sağlık harcamaları içinde önemli yer tutmakta, yatak sayısının etkili şekilde planlanması, organizasyonu ve kullanımı önemli belirleyiciler haline gelmektedir. Pabon Lasso metodu yatak doluluk oranı, yatak devir hızı ve ortalama kalış gün sayısı göstergelerinin aynı anda değerlendirilebilmesi için elverişli bir araçtır. Bu çalışmada, öncelikle metodun kullanımına ilişkin açıklamalarda bulunulmuş, sonrasında metodun literatürdeki kullanım şekilleri ve amaçlarına yer verilmiştir. Metodun görece olarak kolayca uygulanabilirliği, sağlıklı verilere dayanması ile anlamlı ve elverişli sonuçlar verme potansiyeli nedeniyle yıllar içinde sıklaşacağı öngörülebilecektir. Metodun ve uygulama örneklerinin daha iyi anlaşılması Türkiye hastanelerinde uygulamaların artışını destekleyeceği beklenmektedir.
