Konuralp Medical Journal (ISSN: 1309-3878) is a publication of Düzce University School of Medicine Department of Family Medicine. Our Journal was published on October 2009 firstly. Our Journal is planned to be published three times a year in March, June and October and the articles which are sent to our Journal will be evaluated by "peer review" method.

The articles sent to our journal go through a pre-reading process for journal writing rules and language control. Considering the workload of our editors and staff, the writers are obliged to carefully examine the journal rules to avoid loss of time and effort. It is recommended that the number of articles sent to our journal be high, and the time required by the care given to publish the articles appropriately should be taken into consideration by the authors and users.

The scientific articles which will be sent to Konuralp Medical Journal should be appropriate to the World Health Editors Board’s (http://www.icmje.org/) ("icmje_08.pdf" Turkish Translation ICMJE) common rules of the current version which are necessary in the articles for biomedical journals. 

Konuralp Medical Journal (ISSN: 1309-3878) aims to publish articles related to primary care in general medicine, such as review articles, case reports, with pictures of a subject, letters to the editor, news and developments in the world of medicine and basic and clinical research. The articles should not be published anywhere else previously and should not be under review for publication in another journal. The articles that are not prepared according to the extension rules will not be considered. Articles can be found online as Free Full Text at the website of http://www.konuralptipdergi.duzce.edu.tr/. The Editorial Board of our journal suggests that the key words of scientific articles should be taken from Turkey Science Terms and the authors can get benefit in the website of http://www.bilimterimleri.com/. 

Konuralp Tıp Dergisi  [Konuralp Medical Journal] ISSN: 1309-3878 have a deposit policy directory (SHERPA/RoMEO) http://www.sherpa.ac.uk/romeo/index.php. We have accepted manuscripts from all international authors. Our journal have a waiver policy (for developing countries ,etc.).

Konuralp Tıp Dergisi  [Konuralp Medical Journal] ISSN: 1309-3878 is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the DOAJ definition of open access.
